Our experienced catering staff has extensive training in all aspects of hospitality. Grace & Grit offers custom menus for everyone - including Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten-Free and Eco-Friendly Catering.
Jennilee Morris | co-founder
Ms. Morris has been in the hospitality industry since 2001 where she has filled literally every role from Busser, to General Manager, to Executive Chef. She opened her first restaurant, Bonnie Jean's • Casual American Eatery in Southold, NY in 2010. In 2012 she co-founded Grace & Grit to meet the demand for quality off-premise catering in the heart of wine country on the North Fork. Jennilee is also the co-founder of the popular North Fork Roasting Co, a small-batch artisanal coffee roasting company which opened it's doors on Valentines day of 2015. Jennilee has earned a degree in both Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management from the award-winning Institute of Culinary Education. She has received a scholarship from Les Dames de Escoffier for her achievements in the hospitality industry and travels widely to augment her training and experience. Jennilee has taken numerous courses with the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) and has attended many major seminars including the annual conference for the National Association of Caterers, Catersource and Coffeefest. She completed Union Square Hospitality’s business course which teaches hospitality as a business strategy and she strongly embraces these principles and techniques with her current business culture. Jennilee shows her commitment to be a lifelong learner by attending continuing education classes in all fields of hospitality. She loves cooking, listening to audiobooks, drinking coffee and yo-yos.
Stephanie Pincar-Coleman | co-founder
Ms. Pincar-Coleman, originally from Staten Island, NY, came to the North Fork because she recognized the hospitality and wine industry here had much to offer and was not yet widely recognized.A graduate of SUNY Albany, with a BA in English, Ms. Pincar’s early career was spent as a Production Manager at an Emmy Award Winning independent TV and film production company, On Screen Entertainment. It was here that her logistical skills were honed while organizing small TV shoots in New York City and beyond.Realizing her true love was in food, wine and hospitality, Ms. Pincar pursued a Certificate in Restaurant Entrepreneurship from the French Culinary Institute in NYC in 2009. Having worked for 10 plus years in the industry, starting as a grave-yard shift pizzeria cold station and counter server, Stephanie worked her way up and soon found herself working in fine dining at a 200+ seat restaurant in Staten Island.Upon receiving her Certificate from the FCI , Ms. Pincar headed East to the North Fork and soon was managing the Inn at Quogue before being taken on as the Catering Director for Love Lane Catering. It was there that she increased sales annually and created a name for herself in the North Fork wedding industry.Ms. Pincar resigned from her post at Love Lane Catering in January 2011 to start her own catering venture with business partner and Chef, Jennilee Morris. Their catering company, Grace & Grit, has quickly become the go-to name for weddings and events on the North Fork.
